I
was born in South Africa, where I graduated from High School, and then
went
into various creative industries including Interior
Design,
running my own businesses from home, while being a
full time mum.
In
1997 I migrated to Australia with my family and after settling in and
seeing the kids through school I considered which area to
get an Australian qualifications in, and since my passion lies
in
design
and homes, I decided to study to be a Residential Building Designer.
I
started my studies by correspondence through OLI
and
completed them on campus at Nambour TAFE in December 2008.
For the next 30 months I worked in the industry to gain
experience & qualify for my QBCC license, so I could achieve my
dream of once again working for myself here in Australia and being able
to reach a market where my heart is at.
I'm
highly motivated, optimistic, energetic and believe in giving of my
best at all times. My motto for life is "Treat others as you
would like to be treat ed & go the extra
mile..it makes people
smile"
Cheers
Essie
